Our client has an immediate opening for a Total Rewards Analyst

Role
•  Provides expertise to ensure effective and accurate development and execution of compensation, benefits, pension and Total Reward Programs.
•  Ensures Total Rewards Programs are successfully delivered and in support of achieving strategic objectives.
•  Leverages strong working relationships to build an understanding and acceptance of Total Rewards Programs and initiatives across the organization.
•  Works closely with senior management team and reports to the Director, Total Rewards and Business Systems.

Responsibilities Include
•  Designs compensation programs for employee groups with variable comp plans.
•  Assesses workforce data making recommendations in the evaluation and development of core HR programs to support continued development of the Total Rewards portfolio.
•  Stays abreast of current and changing pension plan legislation and its impact on HR core programs.
•  Reviews competitive trends in compensation to ensure alignment with programs.
•  Identifies opportunities for enhancements in metrics to improve forecasting and reporting.
•  Recommends position compensation levels through internal and external evaluations.
•  Participates in competitive reviews, compensation and benefit design.
•  Assumes an active role in identifying and recommending further alignment of rewards.
•  Provides creative input in development of effective communication strategies.
•  Participates in special projects as core HR programs evolve.

Experience / Education
•  5-8 years in human resources with direct exposure to compensation, pension and benefit program administration
•  Experience with trend analysis and forecasting
•  Completion of a university degree in business or economics, human resources certificate or equivalent
•  CMS certification and CHRP an asset
